Wait. This looks like a duck???
That’s because it is! We’re taking editorial license when it comes to the word “chicken”. You see, the challenge lets you pick your poultry of choice.
This workshop is about more than making a wall-hanging from a pattern. And there will be NO paper-piecing, either. Instead, you’ll learn the techniques of making freezer-paper templates and then how to pull just the right fabrics to make your chicken shine. Once you’ve learned these techniques, you’ll be able to create designs from your own inspirations.
Ann teaches the Ruth B. McDowell style of quilt design, and has been successfully instructing quilting students for several years. She’s often inspired by her own photographs, and has created some beautiful art quilts from those photos. Be sure and visit the gallery on her website.
There are six patterns to choose from, so take a minute and check them out here. You might be surprised by what you find there. The patterns will be available for purchase prior to class. Which chicken will you take home?
UPDATE: This workshop is full. However, if you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please register for the class using the button below.
