Get ready, Beaverton! The Metropolitan Patchwork Society (MPS) is thrilled to present our quilt show, “Silver Linings,” on Saturday, March 8, 2025! This is more than just a quilt show—it’s the grand finale of our 25th-anniversary celebration as a guild, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
We’re hosting this spectacular event at the spacious and welcoming Bethel Congregational Church in Downtown Beaverton, Oregon. With more room to spread out, we’ll showcase the incredible talents of our quilters in style. From stunning traditional designs to bold modern creations, there’s something here for everyone to admire.
Admission is free, but donations are always appreciated and help us continue our mission of sharing the joy of quilting with the community. Once inside, you’ll enjoy:
- Quilt Categories Galore: Our quilts will be displayed in various categories, and YOU get to vote for your favorite in each one. It’s your chance to weigh in on the artistry and craftsmanship of our talented members.
- Special Feature: 2024 Challenge Quilts: Don’t miss the “Celebrating 25 Years” section, showcasing our members’ challenge quilts that honor a quarter-century of quilting magic.
- Live Demonstrations and Educational Displays: Watch our quilters in action and pick up tips and tricks for your next project. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just curious, there’s plenty to learn and enjoy.
Mark your calendar and bring your friends and family to celebrate creativity, community, and the art of quilting. It’s a perfect outing for quilters and non-quilters alike—we guarantee you’ll leave inspired!

I would like to post some flyers for the show at the Beaverton pool. Is anyone making a flyer to use?
Yes, there will be flyers. I imagine Miki will bring them to the next guild meeting.
Can we sell fabric bundles at this quilt show since it is not at the library? The bundles sold like hot cakes at the outdoor show. Another way to finance the guild.
Why would a small challenge quilt need a sleeve? Was the comment meant for larger quilts?
We like to hang several small quilts in one section, and a sleeve makes that easier to accomplish. Larger quilts generally take up a whole section, so sleeves are not as critical.
