We’re Less Than A Week Away!

Yes! Our annual MPS Silent Auction will be held this coming Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Bethel Congregational Church in Beaverton, Oregon.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM (and not before) as we welcome members and non-members alike into the room for some lively bidding on many great items.  Heather and Cydney work all year toward this evening as they gather fine fabrics and other quilty paraphernalia, as well as a few things that aren’t necessarily quilt related but can make quilting more enjoyable (wine, anyone?). Because of their thoughtful curating, you will see many beautiful items displayed throughout the room.

We have seen many a finished quilt that began as an orphaned top that was purchased at the auction.  We have also seen dozens of quilts constructed from wonderful fabric purchased at this event.  And we’ve seen rulers, hoops, and even sewing machines carried off to their new homes by their excited new owners.

We will accept cash, checks, and even credit cards as the evening winds down and you prepare to leave with your arms loaded with your new treasures. All the proceeds go to our Vicky Arnold Memorial Program Fund. We use that fund to pay for our quality speakers that come to our General meetings throughout the year.
