Silent Auction and Potluck Only 4 Days Away

That’s right.  Only 4 days!  Tuesday, March 22nd is the night of the big event.  Hope you’re gathering your dollar bills or digging around to find your checkbook.  We’ll also have a credit card reader there if that is more convenient for you.  The bidding begins at 6:00PM. While we’re bidding, we’ll fit in dinner and do a tiny bit of business.  There will be more than 100 items spread around the room waiting for our bids.  We thought we’d share more photos of a few of them. Because this is such a busy night, we will not have our usual Inspirations segment. BUT, if you have a UFO that you need to present so you can send it off for that special birthday or whatever, bring it along.  However, if you can wait to show off your UFO’s until April, please do.

Now, let’s talk about the Potluck part of this Tuesday’s meeting.  Each member is asked to bring a dish to share with the group–a main dish, salad, or dessert.  There are no assignments.  Just bring what you’d like.  If we end up with only desserts to feed us all, we will have a very energetic night!  In reality, that’s never happened before.  But one can dream….

We’re also asking that you bring your own beverage and place setting (plate, silverware, drinking vessel).  We are trying to be lighter on the environment by creating less garbage.  This has worked well for us in the past.  If you forget, no worries–there will be extra plates and cutlery for you as well as our guests.

So let’s have some fun Tuesday night.  Exercise those bidding “chops” and get ready to take home some treasures.
