Silicon Iron Rest
Have you tried these mats for your iron? Per the experts at Reliable irons, we should always keep our irons flat, whether hot or cold. This rest is great for the small travel irons that seem a bit wobbly when upright.

Long Tweezers
What do you use to remove pesky threads behind your bobbin, or paper from your paper- piecing projects? Try a long-handled tweezer!

Needle Threader
While I don’t need glasses for reading or sewing yet, I have found a needle threader is very helpful. One tip is to hold the thread across the threader loosely and then push the button to thread the needle. Withdraw the needle slowly and pull the looped thread through. Tada!

Moda Cupcake/Cake Mix Recipes
This product is a variation on paper piecing. Each pack is sized for 5” or 10” squares. You place two fabrics right sides together with the paper on top. Stitch on the dotted lines and cut apart on the solid lines. Half square triangles with no further trimming! The paper is easy to remove and you are ready to sew the parts together in one of the suggested patterns or your own design.

I use log tweezers every time I sit down to sew. Love ’em!
I got long tweezers with my serger many years ago. Tula’s are so much prettier!
I agree! Mine are plain but functional…
Oooh! I had not seen the CupCake/ Cake Mix pattern by Moda! I put it on my list, let’s see of Santa takes wish list updates. Great ideas thank you!

The block shown was very accurate. Took a bit of thinking to figure out the final lines to cut on. Looking forward to using some of my 5” charm packs!
