“Every Quilt Tells a Story.”
That’s the theme of the Metropolitan Patchwork Society’s 2017 Quilt Show. With that theme, what better place to hold the quilt show than at the beautiful Beaverton City Library located in the heart of Beaverton, Oregon!
The quilt show will be held on National Quilting Day which is Saturday, March 18 this year. It will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. And admission will be FREE! There will be plenty of free parking in the library lot. You’ll find all the information about the show on our Quilt Show Page.
Details have been ironed out, dates set, and now the committee is ready to receive your quilt show entries. MPS members can find links to the entry form on the Member Quilt Show Page found here. The online registration is the preferred method for entering your quilt, but there is also a link to a paper form that you can complete by hand if you wish.
The show will feature a Show Challenge that revolves around the perfect piece of fabric. Show attendees will love to see the different and innovative quilts that our members have designed using this fabric. Members will find a link to the show challenge rules on the Member Quilt Show Page.
Time and again, our MPS members have presented a show packed with wonderful quilts that are traditional, modern, and everything in between. And since MPS holds a show every other year, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to attend this one. Otherwise, it will be a long two-year wait for another show.
Beautiful quilts and great books all in one place. Can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday….
