I started this in a workshop with Pam Raby at Expo 2018. The blocks are all the same. It’s the use of different colors and values that makes them look so different. I had it about 2/3 quilted and was quite unhappy so pulled it out and started over. Very happy now. Think I’ll keep it awhile before giving it away.
So nice to see everyone’s work! Sara- nice to see a finished wonky Greek key- what a relief to finish something! All of the cats and lovely colors were sown warm! Kim- love seeing your new placemats with a beautifully set table.
I really enjoy all of these posts and I will enjoy seeing them all over again when we can meet in person. I like seeing how the quilting adds to total effectiveness of the project. So I know you have to give some of them away but keep a few to share again. Rosalie
A quilt show of scrappy color! Fun to see. Neena, what a lovely way to support your granddaughter’s interest.
Wow…you all have been busy. Love the modern feel and quilting of your piece Kathy. Blue and yellow placemats Kim are so cheerful (would look great in my home!). Two inch squares, such patience Bette. Picture in a pillow—-great idea Neena. Wonky key quilt Sara is fabulous. Some baby is going to look great on that quilt Martha.
Kim T. Love those cute kitties!
