Dear Ladies and Gent of MPS,
This is the final letter of the year coming from your Chair. It has truly been a fabulous year in 2023 filled with outstanding programs and volumes of opportunities to grow in community and creativity within our guild. Thanks to each of you that contributed to that energy and effort!
As you know, we will not be having a General Meeting in December. However, the last Dessert Hour of the year will be on Tuesday the 19th at 7:00. This will be a perfect way to close the longest night of the year, to grab a “cup of”, and enjoy that time with fellow quilters.
Your MPS Board has lots of exciting things planned for 2024 and the 25th Anniversary Team (lead by Christie Frey. Thank you!) will be adding lots of sparkle and joy throughout this year was we celebrate our Silver Anniversary as a guild. As a charter member, I still am in awe that that much time has passed and also in great appreciation of the rich and vibrant guild that we have become.
January activities start on the first Tuesday evening with Show and Tell Inspirations, followed by the first Saturday Sew on the 6th, then the second Tuesday morning with Coffee Chat, then the third Tuesday evening for Dessert Hour and then our General Meeting on the 23rd. Whew! Lots to look forward to!
On behalf of the MPS Board, I wish you all a satisfying and bountiful holiday season!
Peace and good will,
Ruthann
