“Orange Energy” I found these batiks in a packet of multicolors. I wanted a bright quilt for the cold of winter.

Ruth Ann Marquis inspired me to refurbish two fraying towels. I used my “winnings” from last month to make these cute January towels even though we haven’t had snow (yet).

“Sherbet Houndstooth” Last of the 12 donation quilts for Hopewell House for 2024

“Wonky Star Cards” Cards made for Mom for her 94th Birthday. She loves getting something that she can use and not have to eat or find a spot in her already “full” house. I love making tiny wonky stars and enjoyed creating these cards from my scraps.

“Purple and Black #3” This is the 3rd and final purple and black quilt made for my great nieces.
I saw the design on Pinterest in 2024 and created an adapted pattern from the photo. I was inspired to use a purple ombré and added 3 other textured purples. I chose to follow the interweaving 6 patterns with the 6 fabrics surrounded by black. Of course, purple cuddle on the back. Quilted by Elisa Cocoran.

It was a fun bag and a different type product to work with. (Kraft-Tex) Can haul your quilts in it!

“Twisted Fate” The center of this quilt was donated to MPS many years ago. I picked it up at an auction packing party at least 3 years ago saying I’d turn it into a charity quilt. When I received a bundle of fabrics from the January Show and Tell I thought some of the fabric would work well for the binding. I added the borders and quilted it. It will go to Lullaby Quilts.

“Box of Hearts” After receiving a bundle of fabrics from the last MPS Show&Tell drawing I decided to put together this quilt. I used a few other bundles of fabrics I had received over the last few years as well. This pattern looks very complex but it really goes together amazingly fast. This is the second time I’ve used this pattern. I will be donating this to Hopewell House so I quilted it with hearts.

“Cat Coasters” I won this fabric at January Inspirations. I’ve challenged myself to make something with my winnings. My children each have two cats so these coasters are for them.
