This is my completed small quilt group project where we used strip sets made by group members. I used the strips in my Dresden plate blocks with a fun result. Rather than add a border, I chose to add a wider scrappy binding using more of the strip set segments. The quilt measures 60 inches square. Teresa Koster did the custom quilting.

At our last virtual retreat I challenged myself to begin to deal with my bin of scraps that had been accumulating for years. I cut the scraps into some specific sizes. This is the first charity baby quilt I made using them. It measures 46 inches square. I did the quilting.

We had a family member lose her life to the disease of depression. I made her mom and her sister a memory quilt out of some of her clothes.

Four years ago, I bought a big dream panel. Finally got around to quilting it.

Baby quilt is for ‘Josie’ who is the just arrived granddaughter of my longtime friend. The bright fabrics are solids, prints and batiks. The backing was a great find at a previous MPS auction. The quilt measures 50×50 inches and is pieced and quilted by me.
Very encouraging to see others work, appreciate the sharing…Bettirae W
What a great body of work. Amazing talent in this group!
All of the quilts are very “inspiring!”
