The Green Goddess Quilt, 48″ square, was made for my car, a Subaru Forester named (of course) the Green Goddess. I love the idea of a lap quilt for the car, perfect for a road trip, able to be transformed into a pillow and maybe even a makeshift cushion at a baseball game.

Not my quilt. I used a digital pattern with a stunning outcome.

This is my first scrappy quilt from a jelly roll. I doubled the pattern so I could make a queen. It is quilted by Creative Hearts Quilting.

Made this reading pillow for my grand daughter for Christmas. She is 3 years old and has loved books since she was very small! 16” pillow form, quilted front panda fabric, pocket is doubled fabric, no interfacing. The back has a hidden zipper (lime green) so the cover can be removed and washed. No pattern-Fat quarters work for each side. Everything came from my stash!

My sister-in-law introduced me to the Braided Twist pattern by Cheryl Phillips. My step-son has a large commercial mason bee business so this table runner is for him. It is a VERY unique pattern!

This isn’t a quilt…but my other hobby is photography. I took this photo of a breathtaking sunset on the Olympic Peninsula a few months ago. I loaded the photo onto Shutterfly and composed the words. Now you know what everyone in my family is getting for Christmas!

A baby quilt made for my son’s friend. 52×52 inches. Made with fabrics from a past MPS silent auction. I didn’t have enough of the yellow background but found the ‘wrong’ side of a yellow Dimples was a close match.

I purchased these panels a couple years ago and waited for a quilt idea to develop. The stars and trees seemed a fun frame for the panels. The curves inside the stars was the first time I tried quilting rulers. Free motioned stitch in the ditch and snow flakes. The quilt is a gift to my college roommate who lost here husband this year. The quilt is an instant Holiday decoration.

Purchased this Moda kit at our August silent auction. Great fun to piece. Quilted snowflakes, lazy loops in the trees and outlines with free motion. No snowflakes in the homes! Entitled ‘The Neighborhood’. The red and white plaid was a perfect backing. 64×64 inches.
I thought Linda’s comment was significant – even a small holiday quilt is an instant holiday decoration, especially for someone who isn’t up to decorating this year. As usual, beautiful work by everybody.
Well done, everyone! These were so fun to look at. I’m inspired.
